John Q. Hammons was an incredible investor who shaped the Midwest for the better with his hotel chains and structures. He was also known for his unique business principles both good and bad that resulted in extraordinary debt. This article looks at his beginnings as well as his posthumous legacy in lieu of the remaining financial issues. My primary inspiration was pulled from the gorgeous painted architectural renderings with their golden hues, deep saturation, and historic trappings of their era.
